The cornerstone of the academic program at Promise Academy is our tireless commitment to reading development. Our skilled and dedicated teachers use research-based programs and individualized instruction to put each child on the path to reading success. Our extended day is designed to allow each child more time for supervised reading practice and for the evaluation of early literacy skills. Our goal is to motivate and encourage students and to help them develop a lifelong love of reading and learning. Strong reading skills provide the key to unlocking knowledge in all subject areas.

Our Life and Culture curriculum is designed to ensure that our students are able to interact, communicate and excel in a wide variety of environments and cultures. Promise Academy students will experience much of what our community has to offer – from baseball to ballet, from rhythm and blues to symphony. We plan to open doors and broaden the imaginations and aspirations of our students.
